Duff Goldman hosts Food Network’s Duff Till Dawn, Kids Baking Championship and Spring Baking Championship. The pastry chef rose to fame after his business, Charm City Cakes, was featured on hit reality show Ace Of Cakes, on Food Network.
Duff was born into a Jewish family in the state of Michigan, Detroit. As a young boy, Duff showed his interest in cooking, which turned into his passion as he grew up. At the age of 4, he was caught by his mother, wielding a meat cleaver around in the kitchen as he watched Chef Tell on the television.
Duff worked in many kitchens throughout his teen years, ranging from bagels store to fine dining restaurants.
After graduating with a degree in history and philosophy, he eventually moved on to studying culinary in the Culinary Institute of America. He has worked under many renowned chefs in California in many reputable restaurants before starting up Charm City Cakes in 2002.
Apart from hosting his own baking shows, Duff has also appeared in Food Network’s Iron Chef America Season 8 and Food Network Challenge.
Other than his love for pastry, Duff is also a graffiti artist, metal sculptor and an avid musician.
