Growing up in a traditional Southern kitchen, self-proclaimed “Georgia boy” Bobby Deen worked in his family’s kitchen, The Bag Lady, since he was 18. After graduating high school, Bobby decided to dedicate his time to growing his family’s business and worked as the delivery man for The Bag Lady. Bobby would deliver food to customers and return with feedbacks so he and his family can improve and adjust their recipe to satisfy their customers. His efforts paid off when The Bag Lady’s business soared and they shifted from a home business to a restaurant, changing the name all together to The Lady & Sons.
With The Lady & Sons firmly established, Bobby and his brother, Jamie also worked together and launched their first show, Road Tasted. The success of the program opened doors for Bobby and Jamie as they continued to host more shows, exploring America in search of wholesome and warmth-infused cooking.
To shine light on what they do best, Bobby and Jamie co-published several cookbooks, including The Deen Bros. Cookbook-Recipes, Y’all Come Eat, and Get Fired Up. In the meantime, they also expanded their business through the release of a line of spices, barbecue sauces and T-shirts.
Currently, Bobby is based in Georgia, America.
